From the founder Karl Marx, saw contradiction and conflict as the basis characteristics of all known human societies. He believes that people are live in society based on economic determination,that is, those who have power have control over the powerless people.

Society=structure divided by 2 major parts:

1. Economic base or infrastructure.

2. Superstructure.

Marx-infrastructure largely shapes the superstructure.

2 social class:

i. Ruling class.

ii. Subject class.
